HOW DO I SEND A WOOHOO CARD?

Great question! First, you first need to create an account (it’s free!) and become a member of WooHoo Cards. To do this, click any of the GET STARTED buttons on the home page. Enter your details and click SUBMIT. You’re good to go!

To send a card, please click on the card of your choice. Then click PERSONALIZE to go to the Send Card page where you may choose how you will send the card, to whom and when. You can also use this section to write a message to your recipient. Please note that you have the option to send the card via email, text message (not available in all countries) or via your Facebook wall or Facebook direct message. When finished, click SEND and away it goes. You also have the option to preview the card before sending.

WHAT ARE THE FEES AND COSTS TO JOIN WOOHOO CARDS?

Ah, the big question! It’s free! No cost to join, no cost to send cards. Not bad, huh?

WHY WHEN I TRY TO JOIN WOOHOO CARDS DOES IT SAY I'M INELIGIBLE TO JOIN?

By law, we’re not allowed to give access to WooHoo Cards to people under the age of 14. That’s why we ask for your birthdate when you sign up for an account. If you are not under 14 years of age and you received this notice, please check that you entered your birth date correctly, as this is most likely the issue.

WHEN I TRY TO JOIN WOOHOO CARDS IT SAYS MY EMAIL IS ALREADY TAKEN? WHY IS THAT?

This usually means that you’ve joined WooHoo Cards before. Try logging in again, but if you have forgotten your password, try resetting your password. Click the blue link FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD? on the LOGIN page. Enter your email address and then click on the SEND PASSWORD RESET LINK button. Then check your email for your new temporary password. You can change the temporary password at any time.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE A WOOHOO CARD?

We know you’re busy and on the go, so we’ve made it really easy for you to schedule a card (or many) in advance. After choosing a card, click PERSONALIZE, you will see a SCHEDULE CARD area. It is automatically set to the current date. If you wish to send a card on a future date, click on the blue SCHEDULE CARD button and a calendar will appear that allows you to choose any date in the future. To put the card in your send cue, click the green SEND button. The card will be sent just after 12 am EST on the selected date.

HOW DO I CANCEL A CARD?

Whoops! Didn’t mean to send that, did you? Unfortunately, WooHoo Cards that have been sent for immediate delivery, cannot be cancelled. However, WooHoo Cards that have been scheduled for a future date can be cancelled. To do this, go to your DASHBOARD (it’s in the drop down menu with your name on it at the top of every page), find the card you wish to cancel and then click the red CANCEL button.

HOW CAN I TELL IF MY WOOHOO CARD HAS BEEN SENT AND VIEWED?

Not sure if your cards are being seen? You can check by going to your DASHBOARD (it’s in the drop down menu with your name on it at the top of every page), finding the card in question and looking at the VIEWS column. Notice it says VIEWS - that means you’ll know how many times they’ve watched it, too.

CAN I SEND A WOOHOO CARD VIA TEXT ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD?

Not quite anywhere, but a lot of places. Currently, you can text a card or send a card only in the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa. You may be subject to fees from your data carrier, so check that out before you start texting away.

WHY DIDN’T THE PERSON TO WHOM I SENT MY WOOHOO CARD, RECEIVE IT?

There could be several reasons. First, please check that the email address you entered is correct. You can do this in your DASHBOARD (it’s in the drop down menu with your name on it at the top of every page). If that checks out, then most likely your card has been blocked by the recipient’s email provider and/or spam filter.Fortunately, we have a workaround.

Every time you send a card, you receive a copy of the email that your recipient would receive. Should your recipient not receive a card for whatever reason, you can forward your copy to them. Since it comes from your address and not our servers, it should circumvent spam filters.

HOW DO I STOP GETTING EMAILS (INCLUDING THE NEWSLETTER) FROM WOOHOO CARDS?

If you would like to stop receiving emails from WooHoo Cards, go to your MY PROFILE page (it’s in the drop down menu with your name on it at the top of every page) and click on the slider button next to the text, “Subscribe to our newsletter informing you about WooHoo’s latest card releases.” This will turn this function off. If you want to start receiving emails from us again, click this button again and you’re back with us!

WHAT IS FACEBOOK LOGIN?

Facebook Login is an easy way to get into your WooHoo Cards account with a whole lot of extras. It teams up our content with your Facebook account’s info to create a powerful method to send WooHoo cards to your friends. First, it allows you to sign into your account easily by clicking the LOGIN drop down menu at the top of every page and choosing LOGIN WITH FACEBOOK. The first time you register for Facebook Login be sure to allow the Facebook app to see all your account information. Why? Because this is how the fun features are activated.

What are the features? Excellent question! First, you will have access to all your Facebook friends’ birthdays that have also accepted the WooHoo Cards app. You will see a birthday reminder graphic in the lower left hand corner of the page (where Woo the Cat is holding a gift box.) Your Facebook friends who have the most eminent birthdays will show up there. To see all your friends who have accepted the WooHoo app, click on the “Birthday Reminders” text in this box and you will be directed to a page with all of them listed and their actual birthday. In either case, you can click SEND CARD and you will be sent to the BIRTHDAY CARD page. When you choose PERSONALIZE, their email address will automatically be inserted into the SEND field.

Second, when you send a card, you have the option of sending it via Facebook direct message or posting in directly on your wall. This feature is located on the PERSONALIZE page.

WHY CAN I ONLY SEE MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS WHO ALSO USE THE WOOHOO CARDS APP? AND WHY CAN’T I POST A CARD DIRECTLY ON A FRIEND’S FACEBOOK WALL?

Those two things would be really cool, wouldn’t it? Unfortunately, Facebook changed their API rules at the end of 2014, which does not allow direct access to your friends’ accounts via a Facebook app. Security and privacy, ya know.

But you can direct message a Facebook friend a WooHoo Card. And you can tell your friends to accept the WooHoo Cards app and allow it to see the information it requests - which is minimal. This way you can have more fun with the Facebook features and help grow the WooHoo Cards community. Which would be really cool, too.

IT’S OVER. I WANT TO CANCEL MY WOOHOO CARDS ACCOUNT. HOW DO I DO IT?

No! Really? Well, OK. You can cancel your WooHoo Cards account at any time. To do so, please send an email to support@woohoocards.com with the words “Cancellation of WooHoo Account” in the subject line of your email. We will delete your account within 24 hours. We were happy to have you and you are welcome back at any time!

I HAVE FORGOTTEN MY PASSWORD, HOW CAN I LOG IN?

It happens, but no worries! Click the blue link FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD? on the LOGIN page. Enter your email address and then click on the SEND PASSWORD RESET LINK button. An email will be sent to the address associated with your WooHoo account with a link in it. Click that link and it takes you to a page to create a new password. Fill in the fields with the new password and click RESET PASSWORD and you’re all set!

HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?

No problem! Go to your MY PROFILE page (it’s in the drop down menu with your name on it at the top of every page,) and click CHANGE MY PASSWORD. On the CHANGE PASSWORD page, enter your old password in the top field, then enter your new password in the PASSWORD field as well as the NEW PASSWORD CONFIRMATION field. Click UPDATE and you’re good to go!

WHAT DO I DO IF I WANT TO CHANGE ANY ACCOUNT INFORMATION ON MY WOOHOO CARDS ACCOUNT?

To change any account information, go to your account drop down menu (it’s in the drop down menu with your name on it at the top of every page) and click the page where you want to change information. Follow the prompts from there.

I AM HAVING PROBLEMS VIEWING MY WOOHOO CARD/I AM HAVING PROBLEMS LOADING MY WOOHOO CARD.

So sorry about that. Here are some things to try. This gets a little techie, but bear with us.

1. Clear your browser's cache.

*In Internet Explorer 8, on the top toolbar, choose 'Tools' and then 'Internet Options'. Under the 'General' tab, choose 'Delete…' from 'Browsing History', then choose 'Delete files…'

*In Internet Explorer 7, on the top toolbar, choose 'Tools' and then 'Internet Options'. Under the 'General' tab, choose 'Delete…' from 'Browsing History', then choose 'Delete files…'

*In Mozilla Firefox, on the top toolbar, choose 'Tools', and then 'Options' in the dropdown menu. Click the 'Privacy' icon at the top, and then under the 'Cache' tab click the 'Clear Cache Now' button.

*In Safari, browser click on the Settings Button, click on Reset Safari and then check off ‘Empty the Cache’.

*In Chrome, under the Chrome menu, choose Clear Browser Data. Then choose, Cookies and Cached images and files. The click Clear Browser Data.

2. Clear your browser's cookies.

*In Internet Explorer 8, on the top toolbar, choose 'Tools' and then 'Internet Options'. Under the 'General' tab, choose 'Delete…' from 'Browsing History', then choose 'Delete cookies…'

*In Internet Explorer 7, on the top toolbar, choose 'Tools' and then 'Internet Options'. Under the 'General' tab, choose 'Delete…' from 'Browsing History', then choose 'Delete cookies…'

*In Mozilla Firefox, on the top toolbar, choose 'Tools', and then 'Options' in the dropdown menu. Click the 'Privacy' icon at the top, and then under the 'Cookies' tab click the 'Clear Cookies Now' button.

*In Chrome, under the Chrome menu, choose Clear Browser Data. Then choose, Cookies and Cached images and files. The click Clear Browser Data.

*In Safari, browser click on the Settings Button, click on Reset Safari and then check off ‘Remove all Cookies’.

3. Ensure JavaScript is enabled in your browser.

4. Try downloading the latest version of your browser.

CAN WE SEND YOU IDEAS FOR WOOHOO VIDEO GREETING CARD IDEAS?

We don’t accept unsolicited pitches for video card ideas. Any suggestions of this nature will be deleted. That said, general suggestions such as, “More ones with dogs in it,” are perfectly fine and even helpful.
